black bean brownies

3/4 cup hazelnuts (I used almonds)
2 ounces bittersweet chocolate
1/2 cup whole-wheat pastry flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp instant coffee
1/2 c. smart balance
1 tbsp vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup black beans (drained and rinsed)

Heat oven to 350
lightly coat an 8x8 pan with cooking spray

lightly toast the nuts, remove from heat and let cool, then roughly chop.

Heat chocolate over a low heat whisking constantly until melted. let cool to room temperature

sift flour, cinnamon, and coffee and set aside.

In a large bowl, beat margarine and vanilla until creamy. Add sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, and beat to combine. Add melted chocolate chips and beat until combined. Stir in hazelnute, chocolate chips, and black beans.

Pour batter into pan and bake for 20 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.
